Weekend Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Welcome to Scotland

The guide will collect you from Glasgow or Edinburgh Aiport and transport you 1 hour to the accommodation in the beautiful countryside of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. You’ll have time to relax, enjoy the views from the garden and get ready for your first day hiking.

  • Day 2 - Ben Lomond & Loch Lomond

To start our weekend we’ll tackle Ben Lomond 975m, one of the most famous mountains in Loch Lomond. From the top you’ll have clear picture of the spectacular scenery that Scotland has to offer with stunning views of the Loch down below. If you’re feeling brave we’ll jump in the Loch for a swim, before heading to the local village of Balmahah for dinner.

  • Day 3 - The Cobbler, Ben Ime & Ben Narnain

We’ll head to the Western side of Loch Lomond and hike the Arrochar Alps, gateway to the highlands.

We’ll conquer The Cobbler (not a Munro), Ben Ime 1011m and Ben Narnain 926m, bagging two munros in one day. To finish, the evening meal will be at one of our favourite traditional Scottish bars called the Drovers Inn, which was historically an old inn used by the Highland drovers who used to drive their cattle down the side of Loch Lomond to the markets. It’s a true Scottish Bar and one of our favourites

  • Day 4 - Rest and transfer to airport

Please note the above schedule is only an example and can be customised to suit what you want. For example you could arrive early in the morning on the first day and we would have another days hiking. In addition weather conditions will obviously dictate what Munros we hike on the day.
